wishing and hoping all of you had a "great" Christmas Day with family and friends!
Was a little different for us this year with not any "snow" on the grounds but non the less a good Holiday.

Well ice conditions are still about where they were a week ago with about 3 to 4 inches of pretty good ice but "CAUTION" urged while traveling on the ice.
With a late afternoon ride yesterday seeing about 10 or 12 vehicles parked at the Kipling Launch site. Portable shanties as well permanents are pushing farther out but again use caution.
Actually did see an ATV east of Butlers Island several hundred yards out.

Fishing reports being marginal with the few anglers out. Perch bites being caught use waxies, wigglers with tiny jigs.
Walleye and pike being picked up while using tip-up sets. In talking with one fisherman he caught 2 eating size walleye (15 to 17 inch) using 3-4 inch golden shiners on the weed edge in about 12 feet of water.

Again we'll update as its looking like colder weather maybe coming in by weeks end.

All for now, Marty
