Location: Rhinelander | Everyone has a preference driven by what they actually own, sometimes by what the people they fish with own, and sometimes by a good ad campaign. All of the companies mentioned build a great boat. I personally want a Porta Boat for Winnebago and Bay e Noc, but that's me. The debate reminds me of the Chevy/Ford/Mopar arguments I've heard about 4 wheel drive trucks.

Why would you not take a 20 footer against the other " 20's "you have listed. Been in the Rangers for years, Partners boats. Would not go back in one if I had to. Glitter , solid, but stinger city. Triton nice fast, glitter, but built for a person who is only 5'6". Oh yea put a Merc. Pro XS on the back of anyof them and you be very happy. Are you looking to buy new? With this weather I would bet you can get some test rides on a used pro boat.

Like others said, get in the boats, try to fish out of them if its possible, that'll be the best way to choose the boat thats right for you. Good Luck with your search!

Just loged on to your site I am a texas dealer for lund boats.I have been very satisfied with the quality of boats recieved. We primarily order in crappie addition models that we asked Lund to build for us three years ago.I was just wondering if any are being sold in the northern market.I feel strongly that the style of boat produced by the northern aluminum manufacture will soon sell very well in the south. This being said what boat brand do feel is on top and why.

I am also in the market for a new boat. I have looked a the triton 202 and the Ranger 620 and both are laid out about the same. My take is triton is faster but the Ranger rides better especially in rough water, of course some of this depends how they are set up and the driver. Good Luck with your search.
