Fished the bay w/ 7 other guys and ended up w/ 9 eyes between 15.5" and 24". The biggest fish of the weekend was 26.5" and cpr'd. Also caught about 20 decent perch jigging. Lots of smaller undersized eyes caught. All fish were caught jigging, no action came from our tip-ups. We could not fish our usual spots because of access and questionable ice cond. The Kipling launch was only allowing anglers to fish around Butlers Island. Any farther out was unsafe ice, making first and second reef un-fishable. We accessed off of Vagabond, and fished the southern tip of center reef 10' out to 36' of water. Tried going south of Vagabond, and came across a few spots w/ only 4" of ice. Hopefully by this weekend ice travel should be safe through out the upper bay. tight lines. SCOUT
