Member Posts: 3899 | I wouldn't go so far as to say it's the best price ever. Value means different things to different people. That is why there are so many choices of boats to buy. Tuffy, Ranger, Skeeter, Yar Craft, Tracker Lund, Crestliner, Stratos(That's for Jayman), and the others all make boats that are of the right value for the person buying them. Some don't put as much value on a name over performance, function, or cost. Boat beauty, like other thing, is in the eye of the beholder.

The Tundra 21 is a 21 footer, actually 21'6". The new YarCraft is nice looking, but 20 ft. Need to compare prices to similar sized boats. And doesn't matter if it's glass or not, the Tundra will give a better rough water ride.

jack dunn - 2/10/2007 7:46 AM Hi Shep, I have a new boat coming, but not "this" new model. ![]() Are you coming over with the "extreme one" for some muskie action? Let me know when and I'll find a time slot to get you on some fish. Dollarbills, One reason the dash looks so empty is simple to explain. All these boats come with a standard digital gauge package That is why you only see the 2 gauges. It's the Smartcraft for Merc., Command Link for Yamaha, Commander for Suzuki, and I-Command for Evinrude. The counsel/dash design also allows plenty of space for people to mount 2 sonar/GPS units easily, or a 112 or 113 unit with plenty of room to spare. ![]() ![]()

Member Posts: 859 Location: Appleton wi | apples for apples you afraid for everyone on here to know who you are because your statement will be proven to be false?I dont own a yarcraft or a tundra and i have been in both boats and your statement is flat out wrong tundra does not ride better than a yarcraft. You need to get in the boats and compare them and stop taking cheap shots!

Member Posts: 1656 | Ritch, I wouldn't let a Ranger lover get you worked about his boat, when he takes a bath trying to sell if for the "2k" extra that he spent, the proof will be in the pudding. Aweful lot of Rangers for sale that can't help resale when everybody is willing to under cut each other.....Now define value???? "The Proof is in the Pudding" Team Instant Pudding!

Location: Rhinelander | We'll see how this rig and a number of other new boats do this spring and summer once they hit the water and everyone sees them perform. The new Yar Craft looks like a great boat; the interior is similar to several other builders, and the hull looks great. Tournament Walleye Boat pricing is what it is, so mid 40K to mid or even UPPER 50K for a 20' model is pretty much par for the course. It costs -X- to develop and make a well built fiberglass or aluminum 20' boat and trailer no matter who builds the rig. The rest of the retail price is dealer margin ( which isn't much these days) and costs of advertising and promotions passed through from the manufacturer. Getting the asking price from the consumer is a function of promoting the rig and convincing the public the boat is as desirable or more so than the competition's models. Like it or not, THAT'S MARKETING! I'll look forward to seeing this bad boy out on the water at the FLW/PWT events this year.

Member Posts: 48 Location: Beloit | This boat and a complete Yarcraft boat line up will be at the Madison Fishing Expo in Madison Wisconsin February 23,24,25. I saw that they are a corporate sponsor on T.V. and after looking on the show's website see that they will have a display area at the show. This could be a great chance to crawl around these boats and see first hand what they really are all about.

The new yarcraft looks like a great boat cant wait to see one on the water maybe even ride in one. Shep i had no problem mounting my 104 and my x19 on the dash of my 620. your right about the jack worked fine but you have to crank it all the way up to fold it up but i love the trailer. apples to apples the tundra is actually 21'3 and i ran one for 2 years and i can honestly say the 620 rides just as good and is a dryer ride.

Member Posts: 625 Location: LaCrosse, WI | I saw this boat at the Madison show this weekend and all I can say is "WOW", it's awesome. When it comes time for me to upgrade, there's only two optioins. This boat and the Tuffy 2060. Say whatever you want about the price, but I think you're getting just as much boat or more than any "Big Name" for about 13K less. The 209TFX I saw was every bit as impressive as any boat that I've ever seen that starts with an R or an L. Great job YarCraft, you' ve got a winner here.
