The Fox River Spring Walleye Classic will be held on Saturday, May 12. As we get closer to tournament time, additional information will be made available regarding new tournament boundaries and rules. As it looks right now, it appears that the new boundaries will be Little Tail Point over to Point Comfort. Last year we had 85+ teams and expect this years event to be even bigger. Those who fished last year will receive entries in the mail. I believe those will go out sometime in middle to late February. Once the entries are complete, we will also make them available at other locations. Stay tuned for future information.

Randy,

What are the odds the tournament could take off from Metro Park but still return to Jimmy Seas for the weigh inn and great time that follows.

Great job on this tourney...it's by far the most fun derby of the year.

Shep, no wonderfull offshore boards will be injured in the fishing of this tournament

What are you going to throw at the console then? That was way too much fun watching you last year!

As said, great tourney. I had a lot of fun.

Zach? Are we teaming up again? Maybe I'll get those drift socks if you come to fish it again!! hehehe

It's a great idea unfortunately Karl and I try to cut expenses as much as we can to maximize the payouts. As far as we know, the city requires any tournament organizers who run the tournament out of a launch to pay insurance to use the landing. The insurance itself runs over $500 and only covers damage to the landing (docks, trash cans, etc...). That is why we allow all participants to put in where ever it is most convenient to them. There certainly would be advantages to have it all at the same landing but that is the reasoning behind it.

Randy,
Thanks for the heads up, I will look forward to signing up again. You run an excellent tournament and everybody appreciates it. What a great time of year to be on Green Bay. Shep, I didn't know you fished this one. When are we going to Koreana? You said at the boat show you could show me some spicy food. Countdown to green, my 1890 should be on its way very soon. My poor E-tec is feeling so lonely awaiting his new buddy.

Everything takes place at Jimmy Seas. I must have missed one of the references to Stan and Ollie's when I changed over the tournament site to Jimmy Seas. Thanks for catching it.

Just a reminder...entries will be accepted starting March 7th. The order in which I receive your entry will determine boat number, release order, and the order in which you are allowed to bring your fish up to the scale at the conclusion of the tournament.

Can't wait. Zach will be coming over for this again. This is a fun tourney, and Jimmy Seas works out great. Jerry is buying one this year for me!
