Location: Manitowoc, WI | A good start would be the local bait shops. Find out what the natural forage is and then get a map or Navionics chip for the bodies of water and start fishing areas you think might hold fish. Disect the lake/river as much as possible and go from there. Or hire a guide from the area and learn as much as you can from them. Join a local fishing club and listen, listen, listen. Good Luck! |

Location: Rhinelander | Another possibility would be to hire a guide on those waters in advance. Talk to local anglers, resort owners, and as was mentioned, bait shops. |
