| Pulled the boat out of the pole shed last night and brought it home. Gonna get everything back into the boat and take it in for a once around before that river opens up.
I have been going crazy for the last couple weeks. Too much snow to shed hunt decent and no open water........
Did have a 5 3/4 lbs "GRASS CARP" large mouth through the ice this weekend thought. That was a nice supprise.
Anyway, pumped about the warm weather.
Oh, it is only 3 weeks till the Genoa WAT tourney as well. It better warm up fast..... |

Location: Chicago IL. | The IL is starting to open just in time for our first of the year next weekend but the water is up and comming up more. Hope it settles down before next weekend. I remember 2 years ago we jigged thru the holes in the icebergs at desoto bay,and we broke ice to get there!!!! Hope it opens up in time for you guys. I miss that genoa tourney in march. |
