The damns opended up today turning the River to Chocolate milk, had to stay ahead of it to catch fish. Vertical jigging. 10-12 feet of water. Good bite but not great, 10"-26" fish
Good Luck
Tyee

Nice fish Tyee. Pretty easy to tell which one came out of the clear and cloudy water. Always Facinated me how they take on that color so quickly.

Not being sneeky at all Dennis, You could just say I learned my lesson long long ago, I was fishing on the FOX and will be there for the next 10 days trying to break the state record with the other 1000 boats. I'm gonna pull a couple of overnighters next week when the water clears. You interested?
Good Luck

It looks like you forgot to delete the third floor window and your picture box. You have to learn to blend n the background. hehe

Can always tell those fox fish by those pretty growths. Like a fingerprint!

Guest, your right those growths are a tell tale indicator aren't they! The first picture was taken as the mud started showing up in the vacinity of the 172 bridge. I believe we launched when the gates opened! The second picture was taken within 30 minutes of the first and in the same general area. We got many in between them. Dan it was nice of you to notice the color change. It amazed me too. Notice the water clarity in the two pics. We stayed ahead of the mud all the way to Webster.

Choose to head to the Wolf tonight and fight icebergs in cold clear water. Managed a couple of males on the lower end of the system so did the other 6 or so boats we saw. Not bad considering the ice has only been gone 2 days and I wanted to see if there were any females down there yet, Nope! (Hint: Head North)
Good Luck
Tyee
