Location: Rhinelander
This morning brought weather almost identical to yesterday, with cool temps and NE winds forecast at 10 to 20 through the day. Rain chances increase throughout the day with showers moving through as a Low Pressure system moves off to the East.

Many of he Pros who headed to the Lake yesterday must have rethought the Winnebago bite, as many more appeared to be headed up river today. The fish are reported to be on the move, so many pros will be hitting the river for 5 in the well, and then will troll looking for a big fish.

Watch for the Day Two weigh in to begin a little after 3 PM this afternoon.

I'm right there with ya'! Can't wait to see some weights coming in. The person who wins this will be the one that adapts to the changing conditions. Lot's of decsions to be made. What to keep, where to fish, stay with plan A or B. It'll be interesting. It's 2 o'clock as I type and it looks like no one came in early like yesterday.

Tough weather definitely effected the bite today, but Gary Parsons headed to a spot on the east shore of Winnebago to pitch cranks and jigs and weighed 12.70 pounds, enough to edge Scott Fairbairn by a little more than a half pound. Scott weighed 8.40 pounds today.

Pat Neu brought the largest weight of the event to the scales today at 15.37 pounds to take third. Pat is within less than a pound of First Place. Pat's alos leading the Toyota Walleye Tournament Angler Rewards field going into Day Three.

Rain and wind were the story today, but tomorrow the weather looks to change. Possible rain in the morning is to turn to parly cloudy skies and warmer temps. Many of the Pros feel that if that happens, the Winnebago trolling and jigging bite will turn on and it's a shootout for sure.

Looks like the Super Pros are controlling this one. They also controlled Chamberlalin. Might be the year the Super Pros control it all.
Last year the Regional Pros pretty much took all of the Regionals. Now all those guys have moved to the Super Pro ranks. Fun to watch the guys battle this one out.
