As of Sunday the Genoa Dam was free of ice from the Lock all the way past the boat ramp. I have been spending the last couple of days getting the boat ready and stocking up on gear. Will try to get out this week or for sure by the weekend. i have never fished Genoa but tired of ice fishing. This year I have been laid off (construction) all winter and have fished hard water 5-7 days a week. Open water never looked so good.

We have ice here now but I'll be out later today and start breaking it up.
Watch for another post.
