May 17th., sunny, bright day....walleye's doing we"

Last couple of days and some changes in weather from the Opening-Day cloudy, northwest winds to warming temps. today reaching almost 68' right now.
Barometer is steady and looking to stay that way until the weekend.
Spent only several hours this morning on the water doing some searching for some upcoming fishing trips catching one really nice eater size fish about 18 inches.
Methods varying from dragging and casting jigs tipped with crawlers too floater rigs and harnesses off bottom bouncers and slip sinkers.
Water depths of finding these fish varying from as shallow as 4 feet of water to some breakline drops to 25' to 30' of water.
Trolling patterns too are being seen with numerous boats already running diving crankbaits and also pulling crawler harnesses.
Keep in touch and seeing you on the water,
Marty
