Member Posts: 3899 | 59.7 with a 23 Rev 4, and a mostly full tank, about 6 hours on the motor, 5000 RPM. I have since changed to a 21 Rev$, and still get up to 59.5, at 5400 RPM. I've never run the boat alone, or with less than 40 gallons of fuel. Perhaps for the Rhinelander outing, I'll have 10 gallons in her, and then we'll see what she'll do. Had Steve Bendall's 2060 with the 250 Racing motor up to 65 when she hit the limiter. I want to drive that boat with a 23 Rev4!

Member Posts: 12 | You wanna fly? Get in the 2060 I bought with 250 Verado on it. Had it up to 68 mph going downstream on the Miss. 64 going upstream. I wonder what it would do without all the batteries, kicker, trolling motor, and all the other stuff I haul around. wkw

Member Posts: 1040 Location: Stevens Point, WI | I can remember one guy on this board who said an 1890 wouldn't hit 60mph. That boat with a 200 Opti can definitely do 60mph, may not get it everyday, but it will do 60!

just got back from breaking in 200 optimax on my 1890 dw osprey, we hit 60mph 30 gals gas 2 people in boat with a 23 tempest prop, had a great hole shot, still have about 200 rpms to go, will open here up after a few more hrs on her, with the tempest it was a little less trim sensitive than the one i ran with the high five last year, the boat runs really nice at 50 mph at 4400 rpms, and holds good in the corners , will have pictures for sure tomorrrow, sorry for the wait,
