Had a great time out there the last couple of days. Limts yesterday. A bit chilly today, but the 6 year old did very well. THought for sure that cold would of turned em off. Caught 8, kept 6. All nice and healthy. Jig and leech on east side.

I also fished in the cooler temps yesterday, thought the same thing Komo, but the fish were snapping when we got there at 2 and were still going when we left at 5. We trolled the east shore and caught 14. Couple fish in the 19"-20" range and lots around 16"-17" as well.

Fun getting the trolling bugs worked out again. Can't wait for the mud bite to begin!!

Glad to hear the boy had fun Mark. I was also on the east shore with my 2 boys this weekend. We were camping at Calumet Cty Park (nice park BTW). I didn't bring the boat along but we fished from shore a little bit and got a few nice eyes on jigs/leech just before sunset on Saturday. The kids were pretty excited. We gave it a try again on Sunday moring but the water had cleared up considerably and nothing was happening.
