| Mud bite is going great! It's been a couple years since I've seen this many big fish in a weekend. A couple 10-12" running with the 20+" but they were few and far between, I think the biger fish out numbered the little ones 4 to 1 this weekend. Schools seemed to be tight this evening and had to go over them numerous times, this am they seemed to be scattered they were taking just about everything we pulled by them! My guests today, 3 kids and their parents, had never caught a walleye and I'll tell you what...It gets crowded in my boat fast when you can't keep 6 lines in the water. The only casualty was a board that got stepped on, I need to join a support group.............Overall it was Priceless!!!!! There is nothing in this world that compares to the expressions on a 5,6 or 7 year old when he says my hands are sore! Gonna be some big weights coming up. Big fish today was a pair of 26"ers. 10' down. Find the Time and Fish!
Good Luck

Location: Orland Park, IL | nice work. We too experienced a decent mud bite right out of pipe and then south. There was some sorting, but its nice to see healthy young fish. We were torn between harnesses in the shallows, and cranks in the mud. When we were done, the wife and 6 year old were exhausted. Cant seem to shake those stinky little flies though. Now, I dont mind em, but the wife and boy were a bit challenged. I need to get one of those little fans to blow em all away. |

| Tried the shore line for one pass and moved out in the mud on MONDAY. They not not come fast but did manage some nice fish. All the fish we caught looked in good shape . |
