Hit the bay this afternoon with my oldest son who is home from college for a few days. Fairly strong East wind. Only 3 other boats out. Ran Firetiger blades and Purple/Chartruese, both produced well today. 65 back with a 3/8 oz weight @ 1.5-6 mph. Caught and released over 20 Walleyes and a 39 inch Northern. Walleyes ranged from 16-23 inches... no big ones yet.

Very sad day for me.... 2 of the Walleyes were covered with VHS and the Northern was too. No doubt about the VHS on either fish. These are the first 3 fish I have caught with VHS on the bago chain or Green Bay.

Won't be back out for 5 days... till then, take of our most precious resource... crawlers.
