What's the closest launch to Chambers Island. A buddy and I would like to fish that area but only have a 17ft boat and would like the shortest route to get there. Anything on the Door county shoreline?

We went out of Egg Harbor or Fish creek (can't remember!)last year. Nice launch but parking bites! The island is right out there couple miles, then go couple miles and it'll be right there couple miles! It's a ways out there, lots more than it looks.
We fished East side w/ no results then moved to Horseshoe where we had no results, but I'm going back again ASAP! Good luck ,Dennis L

Go just a bit farther than Fish Creek to Pennisula State Park. They have a real nice launch there, with very adequate parking.
