| Does the LMS 520 use the 2000 series puck or the 3000 series puck. I know that the 522 is the 3000 or internal, but was curious. Found a good buy on one!

| The reason I ask is if the 520 uses the 2000 puck I can plug into the same puck as my Lcx-20c without having to buy a LMS 520 with the gps. |

Location: Lincolnshire, IL | I have one puck, it is a LGC-2000, it runs my 520C and my LCX-111 which is all networked, but remember this is on a fish-n-ski(1860 Angler) LOL! |

| Yep, mine is running with a 2000 series puck which is connected to a LowranceNet network bus. |

| the network bus is the little "T" thing right? DO I need a second one of them to run a second unit? Oh, and Wade, I need to look at one of them in person but from the pics I have seen, Ranger has to do something with the storage on the 1860 fish and ski before I will ever buy one...I dont think I can get my stuff in there compared to my LUND!!! |

| Yep, the T is one component of a network. There are double-T's available which have two ports on the topside which would allow you to connect two devices to one T, otherwise you can just get two single T's and connect them end to end and keep adding T's as you add more devices.
I have three graphs, one GPS puck, and a water temp sensor. There is a T for each one of them, plus another T because the network requires a 12V power source to operate. So you just connect the T's end to end and keep going with the devices connected to the top of the T. You'll also need terminating resistors for the last T on the ends of your bus. |
