Make sure you have Flash 8 installed.

It must be our border security. I've tried to download Flash 8 before and get the message "Unable to Authenticcate installer." It shuts off at noon and after work.

You MUST have the newest version of the Adobe Flash Player installed. Get it done, this thing is cool. You can look at the map in a satellite view too.

Download the player from here:

http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Versio...

Install the player.

You may need to restart your computer or force a refresh by holding down the shift key and clicking on the 'refresh' icon.

Restart your browser. I'd use Firefox for a browser; the best out there IMHO and FAST, install here:

http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/

Once you use Firefox IE will be forgotten.

I installed the version you suggested at home rebooted and I got nothing. The link is for version 9. Could this be the problem?

Zach, (I'm assuming I got the right guy), it appears that it's some sort of google link inserted in to an application. Is that strictly a Google thing or can you do that with any website?

It's a Flash application that taps into the Google Maps API. Now we'll have to start geotagging our images and video and really have some fun.

Looks like they got part of their imagery from the same place I got the stuff I worked up for Doc. Just wish it'd been more help to him.

45° 36.5' N
86° 41.5' W

Its the northern most island on the west side of Point Detour where the bay and Lake Michigan meet on the north end. I used it cause I figured it was out of Doc's planned range. I'd hate to get caught crossing to it if conditions got nasty.
