hot and humid temps. this past week and seeing some let up in the weather and hoping for some rains as well.
Water temps. running around 70' to 72' throughout both the upper and lower Bays water and winds have been changing in the last bunch of days varying from north and northwest to south and currently tonight as of this report (8:45 PM) seeing a somewhat steady bite.
Definitely seeing some of our best Walleye bites being early mornings and working waters between 20 to 35 feet of water.
Best tactics and using Walleye Choice crawler harnesses both standards I-42 and 62's along with floater rigs taking some nice eating size fish. Lot's of smaller fish showing us an abundance of good reproduction and telling us the Bay still is in good shape!!!
Spent yesterday fishing with Jodi and Justin Meronk from Elan, Wisconsin.....Just getting married this past weekend and both enjoying fishing had a great time catching numerous fish and some bonus Northern Pike. Now isn't that what it's all about????
So many of us forget the memories and fun of the sport.
For you Country Western fan's fishing with band members of the Joe Nichols Band. Both Tom Bentley band manager and "bass" player Brad Albin wanting to chase Smallmouth Bass on the Bay having a great time with us.
Tubes and jig worms catching our fish this morning and into the afternoon hour as having to get them back to set-up and checks making sure their concert at the fair tonight would be a success!!!
Looking forward to hearing and meeting this crew.
Keep in touch fisherman and still lot's of great fishing coming up in the future weeks!
Here are some photo's of the past days of fishing,
Good luck always and give us a call!!!!!!
