I used the Drop N Stay for the first time on Bago during some good waves. I was very impressed with the results.

Here is a passing thought that I would like some feedback on.........

Would there be times when it would be advantageous to use the Drop N Stay with your drift sock? I'm think of trying it instead of using a rope to tie the drift sock off.
Would this be counter productive or an asset?

What are your thoughts?

Not a bad idea, Dennis. I will give this a try this weekend, if I need the bags. But what would you call this version? hehehe Sock N Stay? Drop N Sock?

PS, I sent you an e-mail. I will copy in a PM to you. Thanks.

My guess is that it would "Dampen" to a degree the lift and rock of the boat slightly in moderate waves and probably a lot more in higher waves. This of course could be viewed as good or bad by the walleyes when drifting along and it's effects generated down to your terminal tackle. If it produced a positive reaction, you'd have something unique and what few other competitors could duplicate, unless they themselves had a drop-n-stay. And we could all use another ace in the hole. Keep us posted on the results.
