"Sunday evening, December 9th., Bay Ice report;"

spending some of the morning today doing some searching and checking out ice conditions throughout both the upper/lower Bay.
Off the Kipling Launch, "yellow" Gate just south of Days River seeing consistant ice thickness of at least 6 inches.
In the narrows between upper/lower Bay closer too the Gladstone Harbor area clear ice and at least 4 inches.
Lot's of traffic being seen, we'll be setting our shanties soon.
