| The bite was better today, but the winds howled well above forecast as a major storm brewed to the east and another moved across the U.P. to the North, beating up a number of the anglers and making the ride back a challenge; then knocking out the WalleyeFIRST live video feed during a spectacular thunderstorm at the weigh in.
Plenty of big fish were caught, including one basket with two fish that weighed over 20#.
The Top Ten looks like this:
JOSHUA VANDERWEIDE
CHAD SCHILLING
KIM PAPINEAU
TOM KEENAN
PAT BYLE
LYNN HANISKO
PETE HARSH
JOHN GILLMAN
RICK FRANKLIN
Joshua Vanderweide weighed 26-1 today for a total of 63-2, to take the lead by just less than 5 pounds over Chad Schilling, who weighed 20-12 for a total of 58-1. Kim 'Chief' Papineau is off the lead by around just over 9 pounds with 53-14, and Tom Keenan held his own with a total of 50-14. Pat Byle weighed 4-10 today, to drop to 5th with a total of 44-8.
Watch for the early report on opening ceremonies of the Final day tomorrow over your morning coffee, and watch for the weigh in coverage to begin tomorrow afternoon at about 3 PM Eastern.
Video will follow soon, there were some hawgs caught today....!
