DOUBLE HEADER REPORT
LANSING, IA – SEPTEMBER 20, 2008 – POOLS 9 & 10
LA CROSSE, WI – SEPTEMBER 21, 2008 – POOLS 7 & 8

LANSING, IA
The final two tournaments of the 2008 season began with the Lansing, IA tournament on Saturday Sept. 20. Twenty five teams competed for over $4500 in cash and prizes. The WAT pays back to 30% of the field.
The team of Jerry Boardman, Desoto, WI & Gary Schreiner, Rock Falls, IL bested the field with a five fish limit weighing 17.05 lbs. earning them a check for $1550. The father son team of John Mannerino, Chicago, IL & John Mannerino, Jr., Chicago, IL took second place and a check for $770 with a five fish limit weighing 14.25 lbs. Coming in third place was the team of Marty Berns and Steve Seipp of Dubuque, IA with a five fish limit earning them $390.
The Big Fish Award of the tournament went to Mike Bisdorf and Jeff Steuer of Dubuque, IA with a 8.60 whopper that earned them a check for $500.
4th. Place – Larry Schlueter, Garbor, IA & Jerry Eiben, Dubuque, IA - $230
5th. Place – Tim Ware, Dubuque, IA & Jerry Oberbroeckling, Holy Cross, IA - $230
6th. Place – Dale Kruger, Cassville, WI & Chris Gasser, Random Lake, WI - $230
7th. Place - Mike Bisdorf & Jeff Steuer, Dubuque, IA - $230
8th. Place – Kevin Withey, La Crosse, WI & Ed Egstad, Prarie du Chien, WI - $230

LA CROSSE, WI
The final tournament of the 2008 season was held at La Crosse, WI on Sept. 21. 26 teams competed for over $6000 in cash, prizes and Team of the Year Award.
The team of Jerry Boardman, Desoto, WI & Gary Schreiner, Rock Falls, IL put the final exclamation point on an outstanding 2008 season by taking first place with a five fish limit weighing 25.55 lbs. earning them a check for $1600 and also earning the Big Fish Award with an 8.35 lb. beauty and a check for $510. The team of David Flury, Dubuque, IA and Joe Carter, Sherrill, IA took second place with a five fish limit weighing 14.85 lbs. earning them a check for $804. Third place went to the team of Galen Bremmer, Avoca, WI and Rick Bryson, Arcadia, WI who brought in a five fish limit weighing 12.70 lbs. and earned them a check for $402.
4th. Place – Scott Strangstalien, LaCrosse, WI & Steve Tauscher, Holmen, WI - $240
5th. Place – Tom Oldenburg, Sttodard, WI & Jeff Munson, Coon Valley, WI - $240
6th. Place – Tom Millenkamp, Sherill, IA & Brian Morris, Davenport, IA - $240
7th. Place – James McDonald, Greys Lake, IL & Greg Pregrocki, Libertyville, IL - $240
8th. Place – Tom Brye, Westby, WI & Michael Young, Stoddard, WI - $240

TEAM OF THE YEAR
The team of Jerry Boardman, Desoto, WI & Gary Schreiner, Rock Falls, IL took the 2008 Team of the Year Award in convincing fashion by recording two first and two second place finishes during the regular season tournaments earning them a check for $1485. Congratulations to Gary & Jerry.
