90% of our trolling motor repairs are caused from fishing line wraped around the prop shaft. With alot of people using braded lines , braded line will damage your seals and actually grove your shaft on the armature and make a costly repair. you would be suprised how much line is floating in the water, if you fish alot, take your prop off and check for line, This will save you costly repairs and time off the water.
