| The 2-day State Championship scheduled on May 5-6th in Albany, Il. will be re-located to Spring Valley, Il.!
I have made my decision based on the quality of the water, not the water levels. With the most recent rainfall the conditions have decreased dramatically. In addition to this, there is approximately 1 1/2" of rain in the forecast over the next two days.

In all fairness to everyone involved, I believe that re-locating this event will offer a much safer and practical event for all.
I apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused to anyone that had planned on fishing this event. As much as we would all like to fish the Mississippi, the present conditions are going to make for a miserable few days on the water.
Registration will be from 4-6 at Barto Landing on Friday May 4th.
Entry fee is $200 and an optional big fish pot of $10 per day.
Boat numbers will be determined by your rank in points.
