Location: Rhinelander | The weather today was absolutely perfect on the Bay with even winds and cloudy skies, and the big 'Eyes responded. Kevin Adams of Shawano and Pat Schuette from Manitowoc took the win with a near 10 pound average, weighing in 29.38 pounds to take home the top prize money of $3700.00. Derek Navis and Korey Sprengel took second, just a couple pounds back with 27.82. In third are Hafner and Huempfner with 26.12. Fourth was Burns and Kissinger with 25.58. Rounding out the top 5 are Gavaert and Balstad with 25.16. The leaderboard should be up soon at the Midwest Walleye Series website. Trolling spinners and cranks very deep was key to getting the bigger fish in the net, and it sounded like several areas to the North kicked out nice fish. This was the final qualifier for the 2012 MWS to determine who makes the Championship held next month. MWS Coverage is brought to you by MW Marine!
