Subject: zebra mussel toxic algae connection


New research indicates that zebras increase the amount of mycrocystis in lakes. That's not good news, because zooplankton don't like to eat toxic algae for obvious reasons. Probably rarely would be a human health issue, but if you take this thing to the next logical step, it is just one more hit on the food chain.
