| WWA Fox Chain April 29 Tournament Results
The second WWA Illinois tournament was held Saturday April 29th on the Fox Chain.
Twenty Six teams competed in overcast and rainy conditions. First place went to Don Reichenberger and Mike Beaj with five fish weighing in at 10.22 pounds. Over half their weight came on one 5.36 pound fish. Second Place went to Bob Gailadora and John Lass with four fish weighing 6.64 pounds. Third Place went to Marc Dunn and Bill Adcock with two fish weighing in at 6.59 pounds. They also took big fish honors with a walleye tipping the scales at 5.45 pounds. Teams were reluctant to share techniques, presentations, and areas fished because of another WWA tournament on Sunday April 30th. Generally, most teams were pitching jigs up shallow.
