Water temps. still running in that 48' to almost 50' marks with daytime temps. getting into the upper 50's and 60's and expected rain showers coming through in the next few hours.
Perch continue to "bite" with still some really nice "jumbos" seen in the buckets!
Boats reporting catching between 30 to more fish in a mornings time on the water, also catching some "throw-back" walleyes showing they too are active!
Best baits and tackle choices; perch rigs, fishing vertical, slip-floats and tiny jigs all being tipped with #1 wigglers followed with small fathead minnows and worm pieces.
Keep in touch and with only 14 days to going until the "Opener" of Walleye season!
