The Walleye Anglers Trail held its third 2007 tournament of the season with the Miller Electric Walleye Challenge at Eastman, WI. on May 20, 2007.
The weather was cloudy with a temperature of 50 degrees at launch time but warmed to the lower 60’s during the day. Blustery winds from the north from 15 to 25 mph.
Kevin Withey and partner Tom Brye brought a basket to the scales weighing 22.10 lbs. to take 1st. place in a hotly contested tournament with Jerry Boardman and Gary Schreiner a close second with a basket weighing 21.65 lbs.
Jan Kopp fishing with her husband Steve caught a WAT record 10.30 lb. walleye to garner the Big Fish Award. Jan and Steve took third place with a basket weighing 18.80 lbs.
