Location: YouTube.com/LyubakaVideo Instagram @LyubakaVideo | Water on the Wisconsin rose back up today, giving us bootfull if we wanted to access our honeyholes. So Scott ran to Delton spillway - I myself was called off from work because being jewish the owners are celebrating Passover - Happy Holiday to all who recognize it! - Scott gave me an earfull on the jumping fish in the lake so I filled up my tank with gas (s.th. I've always dreaded before fishing) and ran down to the Dyke. A boat was out and they were having a field day. Scott was bagging 4 White, 1 Yellow Bass and a decent Crappie. I could not figure the working pattern at first but once I found out that the to-go color was red I became one of the hapy campers! WOW do they ever know how to fight!!! I had a couple give me 4-5 runs before giving in! There was a massive Shad die-off so I scooped a few to cut some chunks for some cat-fishing. A guy lost a huge(presumably catfish) at the bridge, and a lucky angler CPR-ed a huge Walleye still prespawn under the spillway will not even try guesstimating the size! Hooked on a tiny Crappie jig it barely fit in Scott's "butterfly net"
My fish ended up 16count ranging from 10.5" to 15" pigs and average weight of 1lb! With the biggest pushing 3lbs.
