The FRSWC will be held Saturday, May 9. We have a full field of 100 teams. For those prefishing this weekend, it may be worth your time to take a look at the PCB cleanup taking place on the river and how it may effect your trip to Jimmy Seas on Saturday morning. Please remember that we would like all participants checked in and ready for our pre-tournament meeting at 6:00 am. Get there early.

Randy,

Is it any different from last November? They had a section of the west side cordoned off. Is there more this year?

I may have to take an afternoon off, and have a look see. Maybe tomorrow, if I get back from Wausau early.

Shep,
I appears that they are doing some work across the river from Jimmy Seas only closer to the tall train bridge to the South. In watching the news they also have a pipeline marker with bouys I beleive also going towards the dam. My feedback to all is to take it slower than normal Saturday morning if your coming from either Foxpoint or the Brown County fairgrounds. If you are coming from the mouth of the river, I don't believe you will run into as much. My best advice would be to use common sense in the morning and if you can, get out and take a look at what's going on prior to Saturday morning. Anything that is normally not in the river should be clearly marked. Anyone else with specific feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Randy.

Sounds like the same as last fall. The have a bouy line from the south RR bridge on the west side quite a ways out into the river.

I saw on the news last night that the landfill in Brillion is getting a truck every 5 minutes full of dewatered bottom sludge laden with the PCB's. This is supposed to go on all summer, for 9 years! Quite the undertaking. Not sure how much good it is going to do.

I'll try to get out Wednesday or Thursday and report back.

Randy,

Couldn't make the event due to an injury this winter. But, wondering where the entrants are posted. I believe I saw the list a month ago but could be mistaken.

Dave,
Do a search under Fox River Classic in the general discussion category. I believe it will be the second posting listed. In that posting Karl (fishguts) has a pdf attachment that lists all entrants.

Shep, your funny! Honestly, I'd have to cheer on Trap since he's who I'd be fishing w/ if the foot was ok.

But, give her heck! Go #99! along with Greg and Wade and everyone else. Ha!

Shep, it will be awefully hard to throw boards at you if you're way in the back of the pack! No Offshore boards will be harmed in the fishing of this tournament...

Good Luck to everyone, it will be awefully nice to see Wade back on his home turf. We miss you Wade. WVH is back!

Looking forward to having some fun!
