Member Posts: 108 Location: Northern Illinois | The Dells is wide open from the dam past the cable, there was no ice on shore or in the bay up by the dam. The fish are hitting we caught well over 200 in a day and a half. Lot of small fish as well as some slots. Our biggest was 23". We had 19 legals for the 2 days and 3 slots. We vertical jigged only, stingers are a must right now. The water temp was 34 degrees and we found the walleyes were mixed in with the sauger in the deeper holes, we got fish anywhere from 14ft to 30ft. 3/8 oz hair jigs is all you need, color didn't seem to matter. | ||
