Location: Neenah Wi | <P>Well the Family and I are off to Meheko for a week in the sun.Thanks to our families and friends.Anybody got any tips on tours and whatnot?Also anybody do any fishing down there(charters)?I just can't believe the amount of support we are getting from everyone sure is nice to know how many people care.Thanks</P> |

Location: Rhinelander | My son was there for his wedding present a couple years ago, and had a blast. He did some horseback tours, fished a bit, and did a couple bus tours too. Let me look at my Interval International book next week and I will see what else I can learn. |

Location: princeton Il. | Risor, was down there about 5 or 6 years ago on a trip my wife earned(thank god for her)and had a blast. Went on a fishing trip for marlin dont remember the charter but remember the trip well. An all day trip turned into 1/2 day do to high seas and we were on a 42 footer. We did get one hookup on a giant blue and chased it for an hour or so. Got it close several times but he finally broke off.I wasnt the lucky one on the rod but what a sight to watch. I've never seen a battle like that. Oh yeah I did a little chumming the last hour of the trip.There is alot to do just ask the people where you stay and they will tell you about the best places to go.Have fun |

Location: Wind lake, Wi | No suggestions but just have fun and enjoy the nice weather. By the time you come back you will be able to get out on the soft water. Hopefully. Have fun and don not drink the water. |

| Where are you staying. We are also going there this weekend, we take off on Friday. We will be staying at the RIU Jalisco. We are looking at going to Chico's Paradise one of the days. It is a lunch place out in the jungle. It is south of Puerto Vallarta. Doug |

Location: Fond du Lac, WI | Where are you headed in Puerto Vallarta, and when? We'll be down there 3/6 - 3/13 at the Riu Jalisco in Nuevo Vallarta (north part of Banderas Bay). Stayed at the Sierra Nuevo Vallarta 4 years ago. Had a blast. Puerto Vallarta is authentic Mexico, which makes it a great place to visit. We did a whale watching excursion last time we down there out of the Marina. No whales, but it was an incredible boat ride.
We were bucking waves and reefs and got out into the Pacific. Ran into some locals diving for fish, lobsters, muscles, etc. Talk about prehistoric set-ups!!!!! The boats we're wooden, about 12' - 14', with gas powered air pumps in the middle of them. One guy ran the pump while another guy did the diving with a hose shoved in his mouth for air. Our excursion driver traded them some cold beer for fresh fish and lobster. Was very interesting to see.
