I got a call from Amy at FVT and she said that they only got 30 attendees and were seeking 90. Too bad it did not work out. I was fired up for this event. Great idea and thanks to the organizers anyway.
Take care,

Jim, The real number was under 15 people who bought tickets. I am truly sorry this event will not take place, and thankfull to Otter Street, Doc Sampson Larry Smith and Tom Kennan for their hard work, understanding and support. That being said I am not willing to let this idea die on the vine because of this setback(failure) and neither is FVTC Oshkosh. I will take any and all suggestions from all of you to get this off the ground for next year. From what I have heard the 3 days was a bit much,We just thought it nice to have options. Ticket price was $100 and that may have scared some people off ?? But top flight talent costs money. Again if any of you have any suggestions post them here. Kitch

That's dissapointing.

What's the procedure to get the $100 refunded?

Was it FVTC that nixed it or just the general lack of interest so the Instructors backed out?

It was FVTC that made the decision to cancel,FVTC would have run this and taken the hit if we had 25 participants. I am still surprised that there was not more intrest? Kitch

I may be able to help out on the Tech front next go around. Let me know the details of what you are trying to schedule and when you plan to redo it? You can reach me at [email protected]

Thanks

I liked the format schedule as layed out. Perhaps the Friday night event was difficult for some to attend and it should be a Sat, Sun event?
The price did not seem out of line. I thought it was worth the 16 rapalas

16 Rapalas = 4 Muskie baits!

Sorry to see this was cancelled. I was hoping for some feedback, either way. But perhaps 2 days, and a night were too much.

From talking to some of the people who put seminars on, the attendance has been down across the country? There is alot of good info available through DVD's and in print maybe everyone thinks they have a good handle on this type of stuff just useing these methods.Kitch
