The morning dawned to a downpour, with the forecast for rain all day. The anglers I taked to here at the hotel felt the bite will be good despite the heavy rain. There won't be morning pictures because of the downpour, that's a little too tough on the Nikon. Stay with WalleyeFIRST for the Live Leaderboard and weigh in pictures, plus more this afternoon!

10-4 Steve,

It looks like the WIsconsin boys are showing them Michigan boys a trick or two. Go get 'em! Dean Arnoldussen, Patrick Byle, Jason Przekurat, Bill Ortiz, Larry Smith, Tom Keenan, Nick Johnson, Danny Plautz all have a shot to make the cut. Pat Schuette will need to go for broke and bring in a huge basket but do not count him out yet. It's the Detroit River and anyone can bring in over 40 pounds on any day.

I also hope my buddy Scott Allar comes back today and makes the cut. He has a great chance.

We're thinking about our own Jerry Ruffolo too! Come on Jerry, we're all still behind you and hope that you move up the ladder for some well deserved and important points.

Steve, I sure do luv the slide show !!!!!!!!!!!! Any live video coming our way?????

It's still raining and cool out there, but the precip is lighter than it was at dawn today. The forecast is for more of the same, so it's going to be a wet weigh in. Stay with WalleyeFIRST for continuing coverage of the Detroit River FLW!

It's 52 degrees with a NW wind at 7 mph right now, as rain continues to roll through the area. Tomorrow is forecast to be sunny and cold, with a high of only 48 degrees.

The rain has temporarily stopped, and the skies cleared a bit, then went back to a dark overcast. I expect to be weighing in in the rain, but hope springs eternal..

You know what I absolutely love about watching all this, you're never out of it.

Nate P the new G3 team guy looked to be shutout on Wednesday. Then thursday BOOM! 30lb basket and back in the game.

Wow!

Looks like some big weights coming in today. As of right now I see a 39, 35, and a 32. Ross Grothe skyrocketed into the top 10 with 39lbs.

Dean is still on top, with a couple great sticks breathing down his neck. Tom just missed fishing tomorrow. Was he like the last to weigh today?

Good luck to the top ten tomorrow. Hope they all bring in monster bags!

Go Dean!

Wow what a weigh in! Big fish were the rule for the top ten today with Pros making the cut with two big bags in a row. Ross Grothe, Bill Ortiz, and Mairice Hall (the 10th place Co Angler) made for grat stage material this afternoon adding a little excitement to an incredible wiegh in. Maurice Hall made the cut as a Co Angler by ONE OUNCE. He was a bit excited, running off, and then back onto the stage in celebration.

The weather deteriorated during the weigh in with increased North winds and rapidly falling temperatures, but didn't seem to dampen the spirits of the anglers or fans. Stay with WalleyeFIRST for last day FLW Detroit River coverage tomorrow!
