| Currently I run a triton and looking at updating my boat.I run alot of big seas out on green bay and bago. I see that the 19 foot tuffy is only 1300 lbs. Seems very light. also the 21 foot is only 1700 lbs. How do these light boats hold in large waves. How is the ride compared to a 619 or 620? |

| Awsome been in both I feel my light 1890 rides and nice as nice if not better than a 619 and as good as 620, go for a test ride |

PS. I do remember fising an MWC tourney on the bay years ago and we were running in 3-4 foot waves. I was along side a 1760 with a 150 Hp and was impressed how that boat held the waves when trimmed down. Thanks |

| The 2060's ride great in big water was out a few weeks ago on the bay when the wind kicked up was 6 to 7 not a problem for that boat. They ride great and get up on plane fast all around great boat for the money.

| I have 2 Tuffys. 1700 osprey with a 50 tiller and I would take that thing out on bago in any condition except lightning of course. 1890 osprey with 200 opti with rev 4 21 pitch prop and that baby is dialed in sweet. Fish the bay,lake michigan for salmon and bago. She handles some very rough stuff. 53mph. Talk to Denny at Fort Freemont. Customer servive from Denny and Tuffy boats is above and beyond. My next boat will be the 2060 or the new 21ft they are just coming out with Just because I want one. |

| Reef, I live in Neenah. If you want to take a spin in the 1890 let me know. We can go out on bago and pound on it. I usually put that boat away beginning of Oct but I keep the 1700 in the garage and fish that boat all year. |

Any shortcommings with the 1700? Be honest. I used to run an Esox back in the day and loved the boat, but went on to other things. Now I am back in the market and am seriously considering the 1700 or the Esox magnum, both tillers...
I know the obvious advantage to the 1700 over the Esox in waves etc... |

| Let me say I am not a pro fisherman, I fish at night ,during the day and those times in between. I currently have been running a 2060 tuffy DC for five years. I am on lake Mille lacs everyweek the exception being those weekends when we are on our Sportcraft on LOW with the Grandkids. I am just trying to setup my credentials ,to make the statement that my Tuffy can handle anything Lake Mille Lacs can dish out period . My freinds on MilleLacs have every brand imaginable and always seem to want to be in my boat when the wind and weather are bad. On LOW we make 20 to 50 mile runs and fish the Canadian side ,there the comfort of a 27ft , 10FT wide blue water boat is unsurpassed. The small 20-21 ft Boats I see the most on LOW are Tuffy and Skeeter and Lund . In the 15-25 mph winds we saw yesterday on LOW I saw no Rangers no Tritons I did see a Few Tuffys , Skeeters, and lunds . (The lunds were taking a beating ) . The Lord has been good to me and I can buy any boat I want my next boat will probably be a Tuffy 2060 .  |

| I really can't find anything wrong on my 1700. I would have to say the Esox would be more stable on side to side stability. My buddy has one and we use it for muskies allot and I noticed when he would go from one side to the other his boat didn't lean or move at all. Mine will lean while traveling if someone moves from one side to the other unless I'm at full speed. Mine is a 2001 and I love having 2 livewells. The newer models have rod storage up front and I really love that. My dads friend just bought a 1700 osprey last year and he just loves it. I guess I like the osprey because it will take rough water better. Good luck. You'll love your new Tuffy. |

| I would be happy to take you out and drive the 1700 also if you want. I think I seen a esox at Fort Fremont last week when I was there and it was all set to go. Denny can give you more details on that one. |
