Member Posts: 1195 Location: Orland Park, IL | Tried the 41 to 45 to 10. Thats after the 151 haul. Then took 151 to 55 to N to 96 through appleton to fremont. 151 to 41 seems quicker with the highway. 55 to 96 seems better because I dont need to drive around the lake. Any better routes going north around bago?

Member Posts: 1314 Location: Menasha, WI | P.S. Not only is that the quickest way, but you'd also be in the neighborhood to stop by for a beer

Member Posts: 591 Location: in the boat off the east shore somewhere | im currently seeking investors to build a bridge from pipe to tews in oshkosh ,, with a drive threw at heavy kevys chiken express, and a launch smack dab in 19 ft of water half way across the lake... any investors will have there own footing (man made structure) with there name on it and a gate around it to use as they see fit... or lease it out on tournament weekends ,, we are looking at a launch ramp on both the east and wesbound side of the bridge as to make loading and unloading a breeze , there will be a rail and walking path on both sides for shore fisherman who can jog at 2,5 mph,,, or if you want to walk at just under 1 mile / hour you can cary a rod with a crawler harness... or bolt 3 rod holders to your little red wagon and run some boards... you shouldnt need a boat to fish the mud. at anyrate eastbound will be on the north side of the bridge ,west bound walktrolling is permitted only on the south side of the bridge... we are looking at a small toll or fee to cross , and it will be charged per axl, not the famous fishing guide Axl ,, im talking per axle on truck and boat.. so the guys with big sparkly tandam trailers will be paying there fair share... KOMO for an extra few greenbacks i may be able to get this bridge to Fremont before the spring run.

A few thoughts for Bradley894........ I think you should charge a toll for this service! Will there be chicken available on the bridge for M_Komo? Why is Axl so famous? Did you ask WalleyeFIRST for sponsorship? I think you will upset the east shore guys and the west shore guys, to easy of access now to both shores, could be trouble. ( East Vs. West) Do you work for a living? We all want to know!

Member Posts: 591 Location: in the boat off the east shore somewhere | ok guys, so many questions... #1 there will be chicken for komo and anyone else that goes threw pipe to access the bridge from the east.. there is talk of an arbys going in about 3 christmas trees out ,within walking distance of the ramps with a drive threw at lake level.... #2 yes at this time i have a bit of time on my hands threw the course of the day, #3 i dont have a theropist , just my boat and the open water. #4 yes i have a job,,!!!, im in sales and sell campers. im good at what i do and work for dealership in the weeds so i dont get too many oppertunities to jump out of my little office to talk to potential buyers. dont be alarmed i have the sales noumbers for this place way up for the year and do just fine,,, #4 1/2 i dont spend much time comming up with these crazy idias just blurt them out as they come,,, mis-spelled and all. #5 i have logged plenty of walleye water time so i tend to know the lingo a bit.. yet im a bit of a rookie when it comes to competitive crawlering. #6 between my ex wife and taxes i get to keep just under 50 % of my gross income so im a bit bitter at times . #7 my day off durring the week is tomorrow , weds , im going out to Bago and im going to find my five walleyes if i have to hit 20 humps and points to do it, i will be alone as my normal recently retired buddy is going up north to watch another buddy shoot a bear. any other questions please ask,,,, happy to help.
