Member Posts: 744 | I was thinking maybe he wanted to pitch an idea to have a pic of his face put on the sides of a shad rap. Actually not a bad idea if they got a dozen pros to each come up with their own color/pattern. Maybe Rapala donates some money to the charity choice of the best selling pro? "I got most of my fish on a Dean Arnoldussen running 40 feet back on the break, but my big one came on a John Schneider ticking the weeds...." Man, I have an awesome zinger for one guy too, but only available by PM. Even WF wouldn't let me say this publicly...

| Just wondering if you were able to reach Rapala and how. I tried the 612-933-7060 phone number and received a message saying the phone number was invalid. I tried the customer service link and it said that page was no longer available. I have an electric fillet knife that came with two batteries. One battery will clean two fish before it dies. The other will clean about 5 walleyes. I want to contact them to see if there is a way to determine if my batteries are bad or if my charger is bad. | |||

| I had a problem like yours with my battery fillet knife. I called Rapala and they were very nice and sent me a new charger and battery. I think he said they had problems with the supplier who made the charger. Try this number (952-933-7060). It should be warrantied for 2 years. | |||

Member Posts: 3899 | Buy two new batteries every year. each can do about 5 fish. When I go to use it the next spring, they are both junk, and won't take a charge. I'll try to call them. I am in the process of making a 12v adaptor out of one of the battery housings.

Member Posts: 744 | Hey now! I'm slimming down actually! Did my first 100+ mile bicycle ride a week ago and the pounds are coming off. You guys really use an electric knife even when you only have like 10 fish to clean? It may take me a little longer, but hey, I've got extra time now that I got rid of my dial phone.

Member Posts: 3899 | I bought mine to use when cleaning customer fish on the tailgate, before they take off for home. Unless we go to Hooters. I still do it on the tailgate of the truck, but then they take off after we're done at Hooters!

| A letter was sent 11/01/09 to your company at 17200 Varsky, Finland, regarding the above lure. The lure that I have is defective. No response was given to my letter. To whom can I resubmit my letter to get a response? Respectfully submitted, Vladimir Lutka Rapala VMC Corporation Arabianranta 6, 00560 Helsinki, Finland Phone: +358 9 7562 540, Fax: +358 9 7562 5440 E-mail: [email protected] Jouni Grönroos Chief Financial Officer Tel: +358 9 7562 5417 Fax: +358 9 7562 5440 E-mail: [email protected] Olli Aho Company Councel and Investor Relations Tel: +32 2 6260 430 Fax: +32 2 6260 439 E-mail: [email protected] | |||
