Location: Orland Park, IL | My neighbor up in fond dulac swears by it. Loves it for storage of all his trolling rods. This way he can take out and put in at this leasure. Fits perfectly in his seat base.
Pretty slick. Wonder if its available retail anywhere?

Location: Manitowoc, WI | I had one about 4 years ago and loved it. It was great when you're on a trolling bite and wanted to carry some jigging rods with too. I highly recommend it. |

| There was a guy making and selling a similar product in the Neenah Menasha area for 10 years or more. I bought one from him several years ago. His version even holds a landing net. Very covienient way to store 8 rods. I saw it at one of the landings and bought it on the spot. He had several in his truck. His are made out of aluminum, the rod wrangler might be mild steel (rust) |

| Does anyone know how to get ahold of the guy from Neenah or Menasha mentioned in a previous post? I would like to get one of these rod holders for my walleye boat and would like to try one for Lake Michigan trolling rods. |

Location: Orland Park, IL | Ran the rod wrangler this weekend. Love it. No whistling from the line, or at least I didnt hear it. Nice little rod lock on top. Handle is great. Pull it out and put it away. No problems moving around. Very happy with it. |

Location: Fox Lake, Illinois | I don't know if there is a problem with the Rod Wrangler site or not, I also haven't been able to get into it. I did get my Cabela's catalog today and there is something similar to the Rod Wrangler but without the lock. It's called a Quick Stow, has 8 tubes and is 52.99. One of my teammates last year had the Cabelas model and it worked great. |

| A friend informed me that there was some interest in this type of product on this website. Well, I used to make these and sell them several years ago. I have 6 left, all are for the tapered wedge style of seat base (with the locking tab). I used Berkley twist lock rod holders, so your rods are secured at the top. They are made of welded aluminum and have a grommet for a net also. They do not have a carrying handle. They hold 8 rods and are black in color. I leave my rods in the rack even while trailering on the highway. I stopped making them because of all the different styles of seat bases out there, and time constraints. Looks like an exact copy at twice the price of the original Rod Wrangler. Rod Wrangler is no longer made. I have one but wish the rods were spaced further apart. Would still recommend one to anyone that is interested.
