| Talk about perfect winds...
The weather today looks about as good as it can get for the final day of the FLW Walleye Tour Championship. The Pros and their cameraman left the break-wall in Cleveland today into 10 MPH SE winds; forecast to hit about 12. Skies are partly cloudy, and temps are in the 60's for today.
Dustin Kjelden told WalleyeFIRST that this event is his to win or lose, and he's confident the weather and lake conditions are in his favor. Dustin is spinner rigging with crawlers near the Canadian Border.
Scott Fairbairn, holding down second just on lake Erie average fish behind, said his fish should be right where they have been for the last 7 days. He had to switch from pulling cranks and a spoon on a rig to spinners and crawlers yesterday, but feels his crank/spoon presentation will go today.
It's possible to put 45# in the bag here, so this could still be quite a race. Watch for video from this morning soon, and the images galleye in minutes.
Stay with WalleyeFIRST for the best tournament coverage anywhere on the web. Join us for our interactive live audio leader board this afternoon at about 3 PM Central. Talk with other folks in the interactive room, ask Zach and Steve questions about what's happening on the floor of the arena during the weigh in, and listen to live audio from the event!
