Looks like the financial troubles of Nature
vision finally caught up to them. They are no longer Nature Vision and have taken their name of NASDAQ turning over all their shares to Swordfish Financial Inc. out of Texas. What does this mean for the Ice Fishing Market?

Nature Vision Inc., a Brainerd-based maker of underwater cameras and other outdoor gear, plans to voluntarily delist its stock from the Nasdaq Capital Market. It plans to suspend trading of common stock beginning Monday.

Nature Vision said in May that it received notice from Nasdaq that it didn’t meet the markets requirement for minimum stockholder equity of $2.5 million.

In addition, Nature Vision’s stock (Nasdaq: NRVN.PK) was trading below the $1 minimum bid price for 30 days, which prompted notice of delisting from the exchange.

Nature Vision’s stock was last trading at about 10 cents per share.

Nature Vision said it expects its stock will be listed on the NASD Over-the-Counter Bulletin Board going forward.

In 2008, Nature Vision had net sales of $12 million, up 26 percent from $9.6 million in 2007. The firm lost about $2.5 million in 2008, compared a loss of $2.6 million in fiscal 2007.
