| Just want to give kudos to the town and the people of Winneconne for hosting the AIM tourney this past week. Guy's like Doug Nelson of the Wolf River Resort and the great people at Critters for hosting the weigh-in. It was a pleasure to participate in the walk for children's diabetes and to talk to the kids at the middle school. Speaking as a Pro participant we love it when the town gets us involved with their charities and events...it's the least we can do. I do hope we go back in the near future, no matter what the weather brings as it's a great place to catch walleye.
After spending some time with Doug Nelson I/we do get a better understanding of what the towns go through to host such an event. It's a lot of work and we as pro anglers need to make sure our time, money, lodging and cooperation go to the host city.
