Team Rick Bryson / Galen Bremmer WIN MMWS LaCrosse with and impressive four fish limit of 19.52 Mississippi River walleyes including a magnum 8.71# eye for BIG Fish honors netting them $930.00. Team Jeremy Schreiner / Bret Rogers take second with 12.04#'s taking home $330.00. High water levels coupled with a mid-May cold front made for a tough bite, however some hard fought for river gold was found on Pools 7&8. Rick and Galen pitched hair jigs and plastics in backwater eddys to coral their bag of pigs. Jeremey and Bret flat-line slow trolled Rapala Shad Raps and Berkley Frenzy hardbaits in backwater cuts to scrounge up their well of walleyes.

Special thanks to the City of LaCrosse for their hospitality during the event. Next event is June 12th, 2011 in Genoa, WI. This is a make up tournament for our cancelled event in April due to exceptionally high river levels. Anglers will be able to fish both pools 8 & 9 for this event and it should be a great time of year for these pools.
