| Sunday, October 2nd 2011 the Illinois Walleye Trail will be hosting the 1st Annual Hennepin Marine-Fall Classic on the Illinois River in Hennepin, Il.
Registration for this event will take place at Hennepin Marine from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on October, 1st. Hennepin marine will be providing all of the anglers with steaks, sides and refreshments during registration.
We currently have around 30 boats entered in the event and are hopefull of a few more as the weekend approaches!
Entry fee is $200 per team plus $10 for optional bigfish pot.
$15 late fee for registration the day of the event!!!!!
Take-off 7:00 a.m. Weigh-in 3:00 p.m.
6 Fish 14" minimum and two persons per boat. A third person is allowed under the age of 18.

| Congratulations to Steve Tyskzo and Kenny Lookingbill for winning the IWT 2011 Hennepin Marine Fall Classic on the Illinois river today!!!!
30 teams set out today on a frosty morning in search of the winning basket. Most teams spoke of great catches, but the bigger fish just haven't showed up yet. Nineteen teams weighed a six fish limit for a total of 151 fish brought to the scales. Steve and Kenny were pulling #5 shad raps upstream of Hennepin in 10-11 feet of water. Most of their big fish came early as well as most of the limits.
