What is your favorite way to catch walleyes on the opener? Will be at lake koronis near Paynsville, MN. We usually start with jig and minnows 8 to 15 FOW but this year opener may be like June fishing this year so we are thinking about Lindy rigs if it stays this warm. Some years have caught the most fish right off the dock using slip bobbers.

I like to start Lindy Rigging right off the bat, with medium fat heads, Ash River where it empties into Kabetogama.
