Location: Rhinelander | The winds did switch to a moderate North breeze, which, depending on where one is fishing, will help or hurt with water temps. Overall, the conditions for a cold front are excellent, and not forecast to work the Bay up much. Temps will be in the 70's, down nearly 15 degrees from the last couple days. The top 5 Teams all expressed confidence the patterns won't break entirely, but a less productive bite was pretty much a consensus. The weigh in statrs at 5:15, and lasts until after 7, and WalleyeFIRST will be mobile after the event, so watch for updates to begin directly after 7:30! Coverage of Walleye Events is brought to you by Lund Boats and Mercury Outboards. Attachments ---------------- ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Location: Rhinelander | Nitro/Mercury Pro Gary Parsons and Pro Partner Chris Hansen came back from third for the win today CRRing 50 pounds for a total weight of 137.13, taking the top check for $20,000.00. The key to the win was the new Berkley prototype crankbait (we saw the bait...it's cool) and staying on the fish as weather and water temps swung wildly, grinding out enough bites to put the necessary 7 fish on the card today. VIDEO Schneider and Schertz took second with 134.85. They were pulling spinners, which John is famous for, and had three consistent days capped by a 52.56 pound first day total. In third was Lund Pro Chad Schilling and Pro partner Tom Gatzke, who roamed and ROCKED the Bay for three days all the while entertaining their Co Angler with the ruckus, including some dancing in the Lund today. There's a video of that out there somewhere, as of yet blissfully undiscovered. Fourth were Okada and Okada, last year's Oconto AIM winners. Rounding out the top 5 were Chase Parsons and Mike Vorderstrasse. Attachments ---------------- ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
