Had a real fun time at Depere Friday night with eyefever and his friend Rich. We were unable to catch a legal fish, but we did have enough fish to keep us happy. The largest fish of the evening was a 26 inch male we think. Rich did the majority of the catching and also the loosing of the cranks. I think we spent more time sharing past fishing adventures than we did fishing. We had a lotta laughs which made it an enjoyable fishing experience. I felt bad about being the first one to get cold and tired but the temp. dropped, the wind picked up, and when a guy was up for 22 hrs. after a long workweek it is hard to stay warm. I think Rich wanted to fish til it got light out. One thing was neat, I lost a cd7 and a few casts later I caught it and tied it back on. Great time in a nice boat with a couple of guys that I'll fish with anytime. And if your listening Rich, your big fish will come sooner that you think! :) :)

Trap- we had a great time and your more than welcome to come when theres room in the boat and you want to learn how to lose lots of cranks (rich). He said he lost about 14 or 15. That would be one crank for every fish he caught. I had Rick Larson syndrom and could not catch a fish to save my life. Sorry rick, now I know how you felt all winter. lol. Trap did catch a old torn apart minnow net and rich caught some nice drift wood and if I had some beer along I would have caught a buzz. The water was a little high which made getting the cranks down and staying down a little bit of a problem for us. We did have a lot of laughs talking about all kinds of stuff which made for a good time. The best part was when Trap said "ok $1.00 on the first fish" and just as he got done saying that rich landed the biggest one we had for the night. Oh trap you still owe a dollar. hehehe. Till next time keep the crank ticking the bottom and let the hogs come in the boat. Later
