Location: Lake City MN | The bite at Red Wing has been pretty sporadic, one day the fish are there and willing but the next day they are tight lipped and tough to catch. Last week I put together a pretty decent walleye bite pulling plastics in 12 to 18 ft of water but that fell apart on me yesterday when that severe cold front passed thru. Been getting some decent sauger on the edges of the deep holes but that bite has been unpredictable at best. I guess what I am saying is that you can catch fish but you better have more than one trick up your sleeve if you are going to consistently put fish in the boat. Good luck to all.
