Just pitch over the side attached to a rope no? Do you need too to "balance" the drift, ie, one for the bow and one for the stern? One just one for the middle of the boat? When should 2 be deployed, ie, based on speed of drift I would imagine.
Still using the old reever treeck, a orange 5 gallon bucket attached to my anchor rope. |

| I have two Drift Control socks. I think they are the 25". I would look, but Zach still has them. hehehe Anyway, when I need to slow my speed, I attach them to the front cleats of the boat, one on each side. They have about 6' of rope, and run along side the boat pretty well. Two will slow the boat from 2+ MPH to less than one MPH. I use the kicker to provide the speed I want, and steering. I don't use the bowmount AP much with bags. |
